And If u come across a story about the flood and read the comments on some news websites all you have is bitch-ass, heartless, inhumane assholes talkin bout “Fuck them, let their own ppl help them. We give those corrupt terrorists enough of our money. I won’t lift a finger to help them” – SERIOUSLY???
There’s a survey on the Washington Post website (http://views.washingtonpost.com/post-user-polls/2010/08/are-you-donating-to-help-pakistan.html?hpid=talkbox1) askin “Have you donated to Pakistan Flood Relief” and over 70% of the ppl said “No, And I don’t plan to” – SERIOUSLY?? WTF!
You think its ok that 20 MILLION men, women, CHILDREN and elderly (NOT TERRORISTS) suffer and over 1600 DIE in one of the WORST humanitarian disasters ever? ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

Now ok – these are all the crazies coming out on their keyboards to be crazy.. But just look at the differences in coverage, support and awareness compared to Haiti and other disaster striken areas.

When Haiti happened, World Vision Canada raised over 10 MILLION DOLLARS IN ONE WEEK! Its been a week or two since the Pakistan flood and yet they’ve only raised like HALF A MILLION DOLLARS! Why? Cuz NO ONE is talking about it.. There hasnt been a coordinated effort to help out a country that has 1/5 of its land devastated! My faith in humanity is weaker than ever..
BUT.. Large up to all the govt’s and people around the world that ARE helpin out.. CANADA has pledged 33 Million which is nice, Saudi Arabia has pledged about 27 Million (i think).. America’s helping, and so are tons of other countries.
But to you muthafuckas out there sayin you WONT help - (not that you can’t help because you cant afford it or some shit – that may be legit) – to the ppl saying they REFUSE to help out their fellow human beings in need.. May God have mercy on your soul – or lack thereof.
Yea OK.. The govt is corrupt as fuck, i aint gonna lie – Zardaris a punk.. But no one’s saying give money directly to the govt. There are aid organizations there on the ground.. helping out.. Thats a flawed excuse veiling an unwillingness to support people in need.
